Championship Series
The Ultimate Proving Ground
A three-stage, multi-discipline national shooting championship that begins with open qualifiers and culminates in a 7-day, ESPN-broadcast finals at Saber's 838-acre U.S. facility headquarters. From unknown amateurs to Olympic marksmen — the Saber Cup crowns the most complete shooter in the world.
Tournament Structure
The gates open wide. Civilians, law enforcement, military personnel, and competitive shooters alike converge on Chattanooga for the largest open-entry shooting qualifier in the nation. No invitations. No prerequisites. Just raw skill against the clock and steel.
The field narrows. Proven qualifiers face amplified difficulty — longer ranges, smaller targets, tighter time constraints, and grueling stress stages designed to separate marksmen from champions. Team relay events test unit cohesion under fire.
The pinnacle. A 7-day world-class championship broadcast live on ESPN. Invited Olympic marksmen, SWAT competitors, military snipers, and professional 3-Gun athletes join the surviving qualifiers on Saber's 838-acre U.S. facility headquarters for the most prestigious shooting event on the planet.
Stage 1 — Chattanooga, TN
No rank. No invitation. The Saber Cup begins with an open call — anyone with the skill and the nerve can step to the line. Five disciplines test the full spectrum of marksmanship, from surgical precision at distance to explosive speed in confined spaces. Only the top performers advance.
Engage steel targets at 1,000+ yards across multiple positional shooting stages. Wind calls, elevation holds, and cold-bore accuracy determine who advances.
Timed multi-target engagement with barricade transitions, port shooting, and forced position changes. Fractions of a second separate qualification from elimination.
The ultimate versatility test — rifle, pistol, and shotgun across a dynamic course of fire. Stage design rewards both speed and surgical precision.
Close-quarters battle stages scored on speed, accuracy, and target discrimination. Shoot/no-shoot scenarios, room clearing, and hallway engagements.
Mixed-distance unknown-range targets across varied terrain. Competitors must range, calculate, and engage with no prior data — pure fieldcraft.
Stage 2 — U.S.
The proven return. Every discipline from Stage 1 comes back with the intensity dialed to maximum. Targets shrink. Distances grow. Time compresses. And for the first time, stress stages and team relays enter the equation — because champions aren't just accurate, they're unbreakable.
Targets pushed to 1,200+ yards with reduced target profiles
Physical exertion protocols before shooting — sprints, carries, and obstacle courses
30% reduction in par times across all timed events
Two-person coordinated fire stages testing communication and synchronization
Stage 3 — U.S. facility (Saber HQ)
Seven days. 838 Acres. The world is watching. Surviving qualifiers are joined by invited world-class shooters — Olympic gold medalists, elite SWAT operators, decorated military snipers, and professional 3-Gun athletes. ESPN broadcasts every stage live. This is where legends are made.

NVG and thermal optic stages under total darkness. Competitors engage targets using night-vision and infrared aiming systems across CQB and mid-range courses.
A grueling cross-country course spanning Saber's natural terrain — ridgelines, creek beds, and tree lines. Targets appear at unknown distances from 50 to 1,500 yards.
The signature finale. Single-elimination bracket where two shooters face identical courses head-to-head. Last shooter standing claims the crown.
